AGAPE PREGNANCY SUPPORT SERVICES
A place where moms can find hope, help and love! The actual address is 710 E. Russell Street, Fayetteville, NC.

The Agape Pregnancy Support Services is located in the old Hallmark Abortion Clinic on Russell Street in Fayetteville, NC. Helen Roger is the director. They are open on Monday's and Thursday's from 2:30-5:30

This is an organization that is run totally by donations only. All of the staff are volunteers and do not accept any type of salary or reimbursement of any kind. The center depends 100 % on donations to keep it's doors open. Staff counsels the women that come through their doors on the choices they have if they decide not to abort their babies. If they chose adoption, they help with that. If they chose to keep their babies, they help with that. They provide full layettes for first time expectant mothers in need and second time moms get a smaller bag filled with necessities. Pregnancies are identified by staff at Cape Fear Valley Hospital. Jesus is shared gently but never forcibly. Agape Pregnancy Support Service's philosophy is that people can't see Jesus if they are hungry or in need. Meet the needs first and foremost. One of the favorite things they do is" Blessings in a Bottle" where you take a baby bottle and have your group fill it up with change. The motto is "little is much when God is in it". Helen Roger is a gentle, kind, and caring lady that truly has an awesome ministry. The history of Agape PSS is a testimony of her passion for the unborn and the babies that have been saved through the work being done through Helen and the volunteers at the center. If you have baby items, you can fill a baby bottle, you could host a baby shower, etc, give Helen Roger a call. Leave her a message. Go by the center for a tour. You will leave a changed person, that is a promise!

Thank you to Jean Freeman for organizing and bringing about our Fall Banquet for Agape Pregnancy Support Services. We enjoyed the songs of the Lumber River Quartet. We enjoyed the scrumptious chicken and barbecue prepared by Jerry Blount, Robert Lewis & Eustice Callahan. We thank them and the ladies of Hyde Park for preparing delicious sides. Also thank you to the friends who prepared the delicious desserts. Thank you to those who served and to the student volunteers from the Lumberton High Key Club and the youth of Crossway Church in Pembroke for helping with the auction. Thank you to the talented and funny auctioneer Pastor Eddie Cox of St.Pauls Community Church and Robert Lawson of Hyde Park Baptist for assisting with the auction.Also much appreciation is given to thos who donated items or baked goods for the auction and for those who bought items and donated. Because you all generously gave, we raise over $12000. Praise the Lord.

Thank you to Mingo Baptist for hosting our Fall Banquet. They not only made donations of cakes, auction items and monies but also their time. Our friends helped to serve food to hungry friends. Thank you to King's Way for providing the wonderful music.Weappreciate everyone who gave and supported the event. We raised over 20,000 dollars. Praise be to God!
