As a family physician, my philosophy is to work together with each individual patient to attain our common goal of wellness and health.

I strive to provide exceptional, respectful, and compassionate care for you and your family. We are an innovative, Privia Health-affiliated family medicine practice that offers the full-scope of family medicine/primary care services for patients ages 6 and up. We accept most major health insurance plans. We offer same-day appointments, scheduled appointments, and do have "walk-in" availability (appointments are preferred, however). Our dedicated staff, Alicia Simpson, FNP, and Dr. DeVeau are committed to providing personalized, compassionate, and exceptional care for all of your family's healthcare needs. And we try to add a little fun and humor along the way. In addition to practicing the full scope of family medicine, Dr. DeVeau has a special interest in pediatric/adolescent medicine, sports medicine, and men's health. Alicia Simpson, FNP, has special interests in women's health and pediatric/adolescent health, as well. We use a state-of-the-art electronic medical health record with an easy-to-use patient portal, which allows online scheduling and makes communication between patients and staff/providers easy and fast. At First Georgia Physician Group Family Practice at Yorktown, we love our kids and teenagers. That’s why we made sure to create a relaxing space in our new office for the entire family to enjoy. We’ve added a homework bar and lounging chairs for all their Instagram/YouTube/TikTok watching needs

Though we’d like to think your kids are excited to come in to see us, we understand it can be a stressful experience. We are hoping this lounge enhances their experience and makes the medicine go down a little smoother (for us all).

We have exciting news! (WATCH BELOW) We have outgrown our current space, our current office is undergoing a complete renovation and expansion! In the meantime, we are temporarily moving to Suite 110 (downstairs), which is the previous urgent care space on the first floor of the Yorktown building, effective Monday, August 24th. Our hours, phone number, and services will remain the same.

We appreciate your patience as our practice continues to expand in an effort to continue to provide exceptional healthcare to you and your family!
