We are a Non-Profit, Community-Based Blood Center that supplies Cape Fear Valley Health’s patients with blood products, thanks to our compassionate blood donors. Cape Fear Valley Blood Donor Center was originally named The Blood Assurance Plan when it was initiated to Cumberland County in 1963. The plan offered citizens of the area an opportunity to be of service both to themselves and to the community. Although we had been the sole provider of blood to the hospital, we officially became a part of Cape Fear Valley Health in 1994.

⚠️ Weather Update – Blood Donor Center Hours ⚠️

Due to inclement weather and road conditions, the Cape Fear Valley Blood Donor Center will open today at noon and remain open until 5:00 PM.

Your safety is our top priority. Please take extra caution when traveling and only come in if you feel comfortable doing so. If road conditions in your area are unsafe, we encourage you to stay home and remain safe.
