Every step forward represents resilience, discipline, and hope.

Mr. Craddock is recovering from a stroke that affected his left upper & lower extremity, and today he is walking in the Rifton Gait Trainer with bilateral upper-extremity support, requiring very minimal assistance from his therapist, Dr. Uche.

This level of progress is the result of countless repetitions, focused effort, and unwavering determination. Mr. Craddock has put in the work day after day, and it shows.

We are incredibly proud to support his journey—but make no mistake:
this success belongs to him.

One step at a time, he’s reclaiming independence. 💪

We celebrated National Stretching Day yesterday, and our team at First Step Physical Therapy had a great time showing off some of our favorite stretches! 🙌🧘‍♀️

🌟 New Equipment Alert! 🌟
Our patient is taking amazing steps today using the Rifton Pacer Gait Trainer and we’re excited to share that we currently have a demo unit available in our clinic!

This gait trainer includes a dynamic weight-bearing mechanism, which helps support natural weight shifting, making it easier and safer for patients to practice stepping and improve functional mobility.

While weekend has been truly inspiring for First Step Physical Therapy as we proudly supported two amazing causes!

🏃‍♂️ We kicked off by honoring our veterans at the American Legion's Veterans Memorial 5K. It was a heartfelt event dedicated to those who have served—past, present, and fallen. We're thrilled to share that our very own Dr. Taylor secured the First Place Overall award, while Erik finished strong with 2nd in his age group! A huge thank you to everyone who participated and showed their support.

🌺 We also had the privilege of attending the Aloha to Aging G.A.L.A.! Dr. Meghan represented First Step Physical Therapy, championing Aloha's mission to create a better world for the cherished older adults in our community. Together, we’re forging connections and spreading hope!
