MANA MRI

MANA MRI We offer 3 Tesla MRI, the fastest diagnostic imaging technology available. ACR-accredited facility. MANA MRI is accredited by the American College of Radiology.

MANA board-certified radiologists provide a variety of imaging services at our American College of Radiology accredited facilities in Fayetteville. Our radiologists are the trusted experts in the community, providing excellent diagnostic care and radiology to physicians and patients in Northwest Arkansas since 1975. MANA offers the only 3T MRI in Northwest Arkansas to provide patients and physicians with faster scans and better images. “3T” refers to the Tesla, the unit of measurement used to describe the strength of a magnetic field. 3T MRI imaging uses a magnetic field with twice the strength of conventional MRIs. This means that the imaging is more clear and complete — often providing enough information that more invasive diagnostic procedures are unnecessary. The only other 3T MRI in Arkansas is at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock. This sophisticated technology also makes the procedure faster. That means a more comfortable experience for patients along with better quality information for physicians.

We are thrilled to offer DXA Body Composition Scans at MANA Imaging! Standard scales and BMI only tell part of the story.

Here's why a DXA scan is worth it:
🔹 More accurate than a scale or BMI — see exactly what your body is made of
🔹 Tracks body fat vs. lean muscle mass — know your true composition
🔹 Shows regional breakdown — where fat and muscle are distributed in your body
🔹 Sets a clear baseline — so you can measure real progress over time
🔹 No referral needed — easy to access at just $149

Whether you are starting a fitness program or managing your weight, a DXA scan gives you a clearer picture of your body beyond the scale! Visit https://mana.md/dexa-body-composition-scan-at-mana-imaging/ to learn more, and call 479-684-3900 to schedule!

As January comes to a close, we want to take a moment to highlight some important information for Thyroid Awareness Month. 🦋 Your thyroid is a small, butterfly-shaped gland with a huge job: it acts as the "control center" for your body’s metabolism. When this gland isn't functioning properly, it usually falls into one of two categories.

Think of it like a speedometer for your body:
🐢 Hypothyroidism (Underactive) — When your thyroid is "hypo," things slow down. Your body isn't producing enough hormones, which can leave you feeling sluggish, cold, or noticing changes in your weight and mood. It’s like your internal engine is idling too low.

⚡ Hyperthyroidism (Overactive) — When your thyroid is "hyper," things speed up. Your body is producing too many hormones, which can make you feel like your engine is racing. This can cause a fast heartbeat, heat sensitivity, or feelings of restlessness.
