Providing hundreds of patients with quality care and treatment for varying ailments, illnesses, injuries, and general wellness, our licensed acupuncturist and clinical director, Dr. Hayden Henningsen, L. Ac., DACM, CYT, has over 4,000 hours of training in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and 12 years of clinical experience.

In addition to the therapies used during your visit, you can expect to take home some assignments, such as movement and stretching, breathing exercises, and dietary advice. This helps to make the most out of, and prolong the effects of, treatment. Most patients are recommended a monthly subscription/treatment plan, including the suggested number and frequency of treatments and the potential for Chinese herbal prescriptions from out full Chinese herbal pharmacy with over 500 individual Chinese herbs and formulas. Treatment plans will depend on what you are being seen for, how long you have experienced the symptoms or illness, and what your desired results from treatment are.

In 2019, ActiveLife moved to a larger, contemporary facility with additional wellness services to create one of the largest, most comprehensive integrative medicine and functional medicine clinics in the region. New services including mental health counseling (see ActiveLife Counseling), nutritional therapy, massage therapy, and facials.
