Good Morning,

I’m Jessica Jean, the Office Manager for Parkway Medical Group and Dr. William Hughes.

We are aware that some of our patients have received letters from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama indicating that Dr. Hughes may no longer be in-network. We want to assure you that this is not the case—Dr. Hughes and our practice remain in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield.

We are currently transitioning to more of an “All Blue” contract, which will streamline our participation across all BCBS plans and allow us to file claims through a single entity. While the credentialing and contracting process can be complex, please rest assured that this change will not affect your in-network status with our clinic.
