Such a lovely day at the Poe House in Fayetteville! Our residents toured the beautifully preserved 1897 home, built by local brickmaker E.A. Poe, where he and his wife raised their eight children—stories of their daily life still echoing through each historic room. Everyone enjoyed stepping back in time, learning about the family’s legacy, and experiencing a true piece of Fayetteville history. A wonderful day all around!

Our Veterans Day Pinning & Certificate Ceremony earlier this week was a moving reminder of the courage and sacrifice of the 25 veterans we are privileged to honor here at Heritage Place.

Thank you to Cape Fear Valley Hospice & Palliative Care—and to Amy and Jessica—for keeping this tradition alive.

We were deeply honored to have Sgt. Major Fritzching and Sgt. Major Vargas join us from U.S. Army Special Forces at Fort Bragg.
