Class of 2020 Medallion and Hooding Ceremony was held Saturday at Huff Auditorium. Several students traveled across the country to share this special day. The ceremony included Blessing of the Hands by Rev. Kelli Taylor. Awards were presented to the following graduates: Engagement Award (leadership) to Dr. Hogan Jones, Enrichment Award (research) to Dr. Cassidy Fike, Empowerment Award (clinical education) to Dr. Lindsay Edge Bowden, and the Monarch Award (superior performance overall) to Dr. Andrew McAbee. Congratulations to this amazing group!

More accomplishments from our recent graduating Class of 2021! Dr. Garrison Cherry obtained an orthopaedic residency in Charlotte with Atrium Health System. Atrium has a stringent selection process and chooses only two applicants per year for the residency. Congratulations, Garrison!
