We're Hiring!

Type 1 United is growing, and we’re looking for a Development Associate to help strengthen our community. In this part-time, hybrid role, you’ll support donor relationships, help plan events, and share our mission through social media and outreach.

🌟 Flexible schedule (20–25 hrs/week)
🌟 $20K–$30K/year DOE
🌟 Based in or near Federal Way, WA

The ConnecT1D Family Camp starts a month from today.

We hope you'll come to the ConnecT1D Family camp where you'll be surrounded by families who get it - the late-night alarms, the constant beeps, the frustrations the exhaustion, and the daily balancing act of type 1 diabetes.

But more than that, you'll find a community that celebrates the courage, resilience, and strength it takes to keep going. Join us for a weekend of connection, encouragement, and fun, where your whole family can feel understood, supported, and inspired.

Check-in is 6pm on Friday Sept 26th at Warm Beach Camp and Conference Center in Stanwood WA. Families will join together for a camp welcome, ice-brakers, and opportunities to start connecting with other families.
Caregivers attend breakout sessions Saturday and Sunday mornings while youth participate in camp activities with other kids with T1D and their siblings supported by counselors and medical staff. Saturday afternoon families visit the vendor fair and have family fun with swimming, hiking, minigolf, field games and more. Saturday evening there is a comedy show, games in the lobby, and a movie night.

Registration includes lodging, all meals, snacks, program materials, and a camp T-shirt!

We’re heading to the ballpark! ⚾️💙

Join us on Sunday, August 24 for a fun afternoon at T-Mobile Stadium as the Mariners take on the Athletics and help support Type 1 United at the same time.

This fundraiser is a chance to gather with friends, family, and our T1D community for some sunshine, baseball, and connection. Everyone is welcome, and we’d love to see you there!
