It is the last day of APTA's Combined Sections Meeting (CSM)! And our very own, Christine Mattson, DPT, is there in Anaheim, CA! She is attending many courses, visiting many exhibit booths, and meeting many other PTs! Who else is at CSM!?!

We are 🌟THANKFUL🌟 for OUR PATIENTS!!!

❤We would not be anywhere without you! ❤ We want to give a special shoutout to a patient in particular, Luella! Luella is the ABSOLUTE sweetest person you will ever meet! Luella has unfortunately lost her leg due to health complications and received an above knee amputation. However despite the loss of a limb, she has worked SOOOO hard, has progressed through THREE different prosthetic legs 🦿🦿🦿 and now has a microprocessor prosthetic! She recently has been discharged from therapy, on her 100th visit, and is walking out of the clinic with ease! It has been 100 hard work PT visits!

🎉Wellspring Physical Therapy Welcomes November and Celebrates !🎉

We are 🌟THANKFUL🌟 for SO MANY THINGS THIS WEEK!!!

We are 🌟THANKFUL🌟to Federal Way High School for inviting us to be a Guest Speaker to their Engineering Class! Christine Mattson, our Physical Therapist who developed our Amputee Rehab Program talked to the students about 'Anatomical Mechanisms', being an amputee therapist, and the engineering of a prosthetic limb. The students were very engaged and even realized how hard it would be if we were missing a limb.

We are 🌟THANKFUL🌟for the Greater Federal Way Chamber and hosting the annual Gala (Nautical Nights). Wellspring Physical Therapy's wonderful front desk staff (Dawn and Rebecca) and Physical Therapist, Christine also joined in the fun! We met and talked with so many members of the Chamber! It was a great night, and even won some auction items!

⁉️How Does Wellspring Physical Therapy Celebrate National PT Month?!?⁉️
🧠We Spread Our Knowledge🧠

Christine Mattson, DPT, continues to be an avid Guest Lecturer 👩‍🏫for PIMA Medical Institute's Physical Therapy Assistant Program! Each semester she lectures about her Amputee Rehab Program bringing in her knowledge, experience, and even her past/present amputee patients. This allows the students for a first hand experience with the Amputee Population, learn about the different prosthetic legs 🦿, and allows the students to work on their gait assessments! 🚶‍♀️👀

👏For the first time, we even had Joe Sternard, LCPO, prosthetist from Prosthetics & Orthotics join us to share his knowledge and teach the students about the process, from start to finish, in regards to fitting a prosthesis. 🦿Thank You Joe for joining us! 👏
