Today is about the fallen. It’s about honoring the sacrifice my great uncle Bennie Jenkins made at a young age while serving in the Marines during WWII, along with all the other men and women that died while serving our country.

I’m finding myself a bit more emotional this year as I recently took a class on clinical massage for Veterans and it really opened my eyes on the sacrifices that are and have been made. I want to honor not just Bennie but also all of the brave men and women that gave every thing for our freedom. Thank you.

Wow!! What a weekend I had! Just finished the class on Dermoneuromodulation. I can’t wait to share this technique with everyone! It’s a very gentle technique that helps change the pain output signals from our brain. I saw a big improvement in the range of motion in my shoulder from this.

I meet some amazing new friends and can’t wait to share all the information I learned with clients as well as bringing veteran massage to Santa Cruz!

Wow! Just wow! Finished my clinical massage lass for the veteran client. I can’t wait to bring this to Santa Cruz and SLV 💖💖

I learned some amazing stuff! One of the techniques I learned was a gentle way to release the QL which is a major low back muscle. I can’t wait to introduce you all to this!!

Just finished day one of my 2 day class on clinical massage techniques for the veteran client.

Learned some new techniques to apply to all clients as well as heavier topics including an amazing training from the VA on what to do when a client is in su***de crisis mode.

Although heavy topics the teacher did an excellent job of maintaining a fun learning environment and theloing us stay grounded. My head is full and my belly empty 🤣

Super excited to be heading to this confrence in the morning!

I’ll be taking a 2 day class on working with veterans and a half day class Sunday on Dermoneuromodulation. Dermoneuro modulation is a more gentle pressure used to change the nervous system from a hyperactive state to one of less pain through receptors found in the skin.

I can’t wait to incorporate these new techniques!

I’m hoping to post photos of my weekend so stay tuned!
