This afternoon we celebrated two 10-year employment milestones today at DBA. When an employee reaches 10 years of employment with DBA, they are given two options.
Option 1: A check for $3,000
Option 2: A company paid cruise, one week of paid vacation, and $500 in spending money.
The first award today went to Judy Holt. Judy works in DBA’s AR department and routinely completes 900+ claims per month while working receivables for two of our clients, located in Penscola, Florida and Altamont, NY. Judy elected to take the $3,000 check just in time to enjoy her weekend. Well deserved, Judy!
The second award winner is Amanda Broxton. Amanda works in our Charge Entry department entering, scrubbing, and releasing charges containing CPT and ICD-10 codes with appropriate modifiers for one of our longest tenured dermatology clients located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Amanda is known around DBA for her creativity and design talents. Whenever we need something pertaining to arts and crafts designed, Amanda is our go-to.
For her award, Amanda elected the cruise, vacation time and spending cash. She said that she hasn’t figured out where she’s going to go but plans to collect on her award next year.
We appreciate both Judy and Amanda and congratulate them on reaching the 10-year milestone with DBA!
Fun fact: DBA has 86 employees and 15 of them (17.4%) have been with us for more than 10 years. Three employees are due to hit their 10-year milestones within the next eight months.
