🐍What are you leaving in 2025? 🐍

I’ve been cleaning out. Filled the car twice on donation runs and the trash cans are being stressed.

This started before Christmas with a commitment to make this year easier on everyone. (Well, Me primarily).

We did a minimal Christmas compared to other years.

Less was definitely more. Did I stress over no huge presents or Someone not having enough? Yup!

Did I have 18 second thoughts about buying dessert for Christmas?
Yup!

But I loved have less Christmas decor and focusing on key elements like the nativity and a beautiful Christmas cactus.

In the end - it doesn’t matter.

Just like a yoga class, it’s how you make both your students and yourself as the teacher feel! If you stress out over a mistake or forget the other side, you rob yourself and your students of being present while you berate yourself. (Self sabotage and imposter syndrome) - the good ol’ I su*k spiral.

If the decorations didn’t go up this year .. they go out the door.

Last year, I bought a ton of yoga props thinking I needed them. As I look to move my growth strategy from potential brick and mortar to online, those may get downsized too.

Clutter in your home or car or finances or even clutter in your sequences with poses that don’t belong there … creates mind clutter.

What are you leaving in 2025?

My Wish to You at the end of the year is making a commitment to creating a voyage towards your own longevity and happiness. Maybe choosing yoga as the vessel to get yourself there.

We laugh and cry. We stretch ourselves and get comfy over a pillow.
