30 Day AB Challenge: Day 19

Pilates 100's always remind me how much breath shapes strength. Two sets gave me that deep, warm core activation. A plank helped everything integrate. Child's pose, cat cow, gentle shoulder rolls and a little neck release was exactly what my body needed after holding steady through the work.

And yes, the cats stopped by again for emotional support !

Strength isn't just activation. It's the softening that follows!

Day 18 of my 30 Day AB Challenge

Today's practice reminded me that stability is layered. It's structural and internal .

Alternating toe-touches challenge your lower core, plank reconnects you with alignment, and child's pose & cat cow soften everything.

Structurally your feet anchor you to the Earth .

Internally your core is where internal stability begins both emotionally and physically.

Toe taps helped me reconnect with my deep core, plank side dips woke up my obliques, and child's pose and cat cow brought everything released. This sequence reminded me to slow down, breathe, and find my center .

30 Day AB Challenge: Day 16

Today humbled me in the best way. My plan was to do two smooth sets of boat-to-canoe, but on the second round, rep eight, I fully collapsed to the floor.

NO drama, NO frustration- just honesty!

This challenge works the deep core and hip flexors and after days of consistent effort, my body said "NOPE" and I surrendered instead of pushing. Sometimes surrender is needed- it's a flex, not a fail.

Your strength isn't measured by how hard you can push, but how well you can listen.

Are YOU LIVING by DESIGN or by DEFAULT?

Truth: I fell off my daily reading habit. After long days at work, it was easier to unwind with the TV, until I realized it wasn't really rest, it was an escape !

So I'm starting small again- 15 minutes a day is the goal .

No pressure, no perfection- just presence !

That's the beauty of habit work! It's not about falling off, it's about noticing when you do... and gently returning to what matters.

30 Day AB Challenge: Day 15

Halfway through! Woohoo!! AND today was messy in the best way😁✨

I planned to do 2 sets of 10 boat-to-canoe, but my hip flexors were not having it after 2 days of lower core work. So I flexed and added a plank for stability and finished with cat-cow and the child's pose to stretch and release tension.

And, yes, the cats showed up to steal the show and distract me😻

This challenge isn't about pushing through everything, it's about adapting, honoring your limits, and moving with integrity.

Showing up with awareness is the real transformation!

30 Day AB Challenge: Day 14

Do you know why flutter and scissor kicks feel so intense ?

These moves work your lower abs, but they also wake up your psoas- a deep core muscle tied to posture, balance, and even stress.

When the psoas is tight (from sitting or tension) these exercises feel harder. When it's balanced, your core feels stronger and more supported. Adding a plank helps stabilize everything, and finishing in child's pose lets the psoas release.

Slow, mindful reps build real strength from the inside out!
