Riding the waves of a spiritual awakening can be bumpy then smooth and perhaps bumpy again. The journey requires patience in the unfolding process. Setting up boundaries and maintaining a practice in our meditation and mindfulness will minimize or eliminate negative reactions to triggers that previously set us off. When conflict does arise there is something here for us to learn about ourselves or another.

Everything carries energy.

The items we surround ourselves with, the music we listen to, the colors we wear, and the clothing we choose all hold vibration~and that vibration can support us in connecting more deeply with Spirit.

A candle lit with intention can shift the atmosphere. A crystal, feather, piece of jewelry, or meaningful object can become an anchor for your energy and a reminder that you are guided. Sacred items are not powerful because of what they are~they are powerful because of the meaning, intention, and connection we place into them.

Music can open portals within us. Certain sounds calm the nervous system, awaken emotion, stir memory, and raise our frequency. A song can move you into healing, meditation, tears, joy, or remembrance of who you truly are.

Colors speak their own spiritual language. Blue may soothe and open communication. Purple may enhance intuition and inner wisdom. Green may support healing and the heart. White may invite peace and clarity. We are often drawn to the colors our soul needs most.

Even clothing carries energy. What you wear can affect how you feel, move, and show up in the world. Flowing fabrics may help you feel free. Soft textures may bring comfort. Certain pieces may make you feel empowered, grounded, sensual, or more aligned with your authentic self.

Become mindful of what you choose each day. Ask yourself:

What energy do I need today?
What supports my spirit today?
What is calling to me for a reason?

Spirit often communicates through the subtle. Through symbols. Through sensation. Through what you feel drawn toward.

Trust what resonates.

Your soul is always guiding you~even through the music on your playlist, the shirt you reach for, the color catching your eye, or the treasured object placed in your space.

This week, in the middle of a busy day of Readings, I stepped outside to take a quiet pause in nature. In that moment, the wind lifted a black feather from the cement, carrying it upward just enough to catch my eye before it gently landed again.

It may have come from a garment rather than a bird… but spirit often works through the ordinary to deliver the extraordinary.

The message I felt was clear: even when life feels heavy, rushed, or grounded in the concrete of responsibilities, there is always an unseen force ready to lift us, redirect our gaze, and remind us to notice the magic still surrounding us.

Black feathers are often associated with protection, mystery, transformation, and the wisdom found in the unseen realms. They remind us that not everything is meant to be explained logically. Some things are simply meant to be felt.

Today’s reminder:
Pause when life gets busy.
Look up when your energy feels low.
Trust what gently catches your attention.
There may be guidance waiting in the smallest moments.

Spirit does not always shout.
Sometimes it dances in the wind.

April 2019. Laid mom's gravestone Friday, one year after her death. Thought of her while rereading the Prophet Sunday, a fave book since I fell upon it at age 9.

Khalil Gibran was a true Mystic.

Things are being uncovered. Truths once hidden are rising to the surface~within the world around us, and within ourselves. Many are noticing their intuition sharpening, their inner knowing growing louder, and their awareness becoming clearer than ever before. What was once ignored can no longer be unseen.

Our sixth sense is not something outside of us~it is the sacred wisdom within us. The third eye is not fantasy~it is clarity, discernment, and the ability to sense beyond illusion. The veil is thinning, and many are awakening to what truly matters.

We are each being invited to choose our frequency.

Will we remain trapped in the heavy 3D world of fear, division, control, and darkness?
Or will we rise into the energy of 5D consciousness~peace, love, compassion, unity, healing, and joy?

This is not about escaping the Earth. It is about transforming how we live upon it. It is about choosing love over fear, truth over illusion, presence over distraction, and soul over ego.

Every thought, every choice, every action feeds one reality or the other.

Earlier this week, I was sitting in my living room doing some work on my phone and I kept hearing a persistent chirping (even though the windows were closed). I looked up and it seemed this cardinal was trying to get my attention as it was looking inside not outward. We spoke for awhile before I filmed this and I felt a strong presence of my mother’s love.❤️ I often see Robins and Cardinals as messengers from her.

We are going through a big shift on our planet.🌎 Get ready for an up leveling!🙌🏽

There has been a tremendous amount of heavy energy in the collective. Many are feeling tired or numb or completely drained. Some clients have expressed feeling lost, even those that were recently feeling quite centered and at peace. If you are feeling this, you are not alone. An energetic cleansing and refocus can help you move through this.

Ivy is a Soul Coach/Lightworker and Card Reader at MYSTICAL SOUL WORK in Ferndale, Michigan. One of her favorite sayings is “We are all Teachers and We are all Students”!
