Hi everyone!

Today's post is to inform some of my patients that I am no longer accepting Premera BC/BS insurance.

Over the years, as many of you know, I have done my best to keep my fee structure as accommodating as possible. Premera's reimbursement for chiropractic services is no longer sufficient to permit me to continue as a preferred provider.

It is just not sustainable. As I stated I have done my level best over the past 32 years to work with my patient's insurance carriers but it is no longer possible. As of today 02/16/2026 I am no longer a contracted provider for Premera.

Each individual office visit for my Premera patients will be at the normal Cash rate. The difference between your Co-Pay amount previously and the new Cash rate is about $15 more.

It is my hope that the excellent service I have provided over the years to you and your families will be sufficient for you to decide to continue to utilize my office for your Chiropractic needs.

I have attached a brief synopsis of what is going on with Premera and Chiropractic payments.

I was out of town for a few days to attend the proposal event my son organized to surprise his new Fiance.

She was indeed surprised!

Normal office hours resume this morning.
