And what does my support actually look like?
A death doula is someone who walks with individuals and families through the final stage of life — emotionally, spiritually, and practically.
My work blends end-of-life guidance with holistic care, body-based support, and real-life organization, so families feel held on every level.
Emotional & Spiritual Support
• Helping ease fear, anxiety, and the unknown
• Holding space for grief, guilt, and unfinished stories
• Guiding families through the physical and emotional stages of dying
• Creating legacy projects — letters, stories, rituals, memory books
Practical End-of-Life Support
• Organizing and assisting with Swedish Death Cleaning
— decluttering, sorting belongings, simplifying the home
• Helping clarify after-death wishes and paperwork
• Supporting the family with planning, decisions, and communication
• Creating a peaceful, comforting environment around the person transitioning
Holistic Body & Nervous System Support
• Somatic movement to release fear, tension, and trapped emotions
• Breathwork for grounding, regulation, and peace
• Gentle practices to bring comfort to the person dying and the family
Nutrition, Juicing & Physical Care
• Preparing nutritious juices tailored to support the body during stress, grief, and caregiving
• Meal prepping for families who are overwhelmed or focused on caregiving
• Creating simple, healing foods that bring comfort and strength
• Supporting the family’s physical well-being so they can show up present and steady
Financial & Organizational Support
• Helping families understand financial logistics around end-of-life
• Guiding conversations around costs, resources, and practical decisions
• Reducing stress so families can focus on connection, not paperwork
After-Death Support
• Supporting loved ones through immediate decisions
• Helping organize belongings, home needs, and next steps
• Providing grounding and guidance during an emotionally heavy time
