This announcement it to inform you of upcoming changes here at Midwest Medical Practitioners.

Our Festus office, located at 1153 E. Gannon Drive will be closing effective March 13, 2026. While this chapter is coming to a close, please know that our commitment to you and your healthcare needs remains as strong as ever.

Provider Updates:
Lacy Hosay will be continuing to care for patients at our Tesson Office:

St. Louis, MO 63128

Holly Ackermann will be transitioning from Midwest Medical Practitioners to pursue a new professional opportunity. Holly has been a valued member of our team, and we are truly grateful for the compassion and dedication she has shown to her patients. We wish her every success in this next step.

If you have been under Holly’s care, we want to ensure you feel fully supported during this transition. You may continue your care with one of our providers at our Tesson or De Soto location. Our team will gladly assist you in selecting a provider and coordinating your appointments to make this transition as smooth as possible based on your location and provider preference.

In addition, our South County Office is pleased to welcome Dr. Taha Sarmast, who is now available to see patients.

Due to the road and weather conditions, Midwest Medical Practitioners will be closed on Monday 01/26/2026. Our staff will be working remotely and appointments scheduled will be completed via televisit. We appreciate the understanding!

📢Dr. Jabbar will be out of the office from November 10, 2025, to November 17, 2025. If you have any medication refills needed during that time, please contact our office BEFORE November 10, 2025. This applies to all patients, regardless of which provider you see at our practice. Thank you!

Midwest Medical Practitioners will be closed Friday 08/29/2025 through Monday 09/01/2025 for Labor Day. We will reopen Tuesday 09/02/2025.

Need a medication refill before the holiday? Please submit requests no later than Thursday 08/28/2025 by 3 PM CT. Requests received after that time will be processed when we return.

Non-urgent messages will be handled when we reopen. For emergencies, call 911. Thank you for choosing MMP, and have a safe holiday weekend.

Midwest Medical Practitioners will be closed July 4th through July 7th in observance of the holiday weekend.

💊 If you need a medication refill during this time, please make your request by 4 PM on July 3rd. Refills will not be processed while the office is closed.
