This year has been teaching me… and yes, I know—it’s only February 😅. But let’s talk about stillness for a minute.

One of my favorite Bible verses is:
Psalm 46:10 – “Be still, and know that I am God.”

If you know me, you know staying still isn’t exactly my strong suit. I'm not sure I know many people who are excited about stillness. I love to know the next step, I mean who doesn't?! I often think if I plan I can make things happen. But I’m learning that this story—my story, and even the story of Anchored Sports—is His to write.

Being still isn’t about doing nothing. It’s about choosing faith over control, trusting His timing, and letting Him lead—even when the next step feels uncertain. It’s in those quiet, still moments that some of the biggest blessings happen—and I’ve seen it unfold again and again, both personally and through the ways we get to connect with our community here at Anchored Sports.

Sundays are the perfect reminder to pause, breathe, and trust.

We had the absolute privilege of being invited to meet with Donnell PTO last night to talk about potential fundraising opportunities, and wow… what an eye-opening experience!

We loved connecting, listening, and learning more about the incredible impact they’re making in the lives of teachers, students, and the entire Donnell community. The passion, heart, and dedication in that room was inspiring.

Huge shout-out to all the amazing PTOs out there — the work you do truly matters and doesn’t go unnoticed 💙

🎉 Who says school can’t start with FUN?! 🎉

At Anchored Sports, some of our homeschooling days kick off with mini golf instead of bookwork! ⛳💫 Before diving into lessons, we get moving, laughing, and aiming for that hole-in-one (Hello geometry!!)

It’s the perfect way to start the day energized and make learning something the kids actually look forward to! 🏌️‍♂️💥

Join us for ArtWalk on Friday, February 6th from 5PM–9PM in Downtown Findlay one of Findlay’s favorite events of the year! And its also, $4 mini golf at Anchored Sports every Friday!

ArtWalk happens four times a year (the first Fridays in February, May, August, and November) and is a FREE, family-friendly event featuring artists showcased inside local shops, restaurants, and businesses throughout Downtown.
