Bill Foor

In everything that Bill Foor did, his daughters described it as, "Go big or go home." From supporting his family, to his work at Ford and Kuka, to his athletic pursuits, Bill dedicated everything he had to any endeavor that he put his mind to.

Harry William Foor, 73, of Bloomdale, Ohio died of complications from Lewy-Body Dementia in Bloomdale on November 18, 2025, surrounded by his family and in his wife's arms.

He was born in Toledo, Ohio, in 1952 to Blanche and Howard Foor. As the oldest of four boys, he took care of his Mom and his family, inspiring his work ethic and caring heart from a young age. Intelligent, though mostly known for his athleticism and keeping his books in his car, he attended school in Monroe, before going to work at Ford in Monroe. Firm, but fair, he became a supervisor at Ford, and dedicated many hours there, known for his leadership, problem-solving skills, and accomplishments.

He was married to Pamela Foor for 35 years before she died. Together, they raised daughters, Kristen and Katie. Their daughter, Kristen Posta is married to Darrin, and has grandchildren, Zachary (Aly) Posta, who have his great-grandchild, Riley, Jacob (Jenna) Posta, who have two great-grandchildren, Hudson and Lincoln, and Delaney (Adam) Rutledge who have great-grandchild Henry. Bill and Pam also had a daughter, Katharine (Chris) Marquart of Sandusky, Ohio, who has his granddaughter, Emma.

Bill married Stacey in 2010. Stacey describes what she and Bill had as true, true love. Some of her most treasured memories are how he'd cherish her with messages during his shifts at Kuka, their many trips and adventures, and how he was her biggest supporter.

In turn, he became the biggest supporter of their children, Adam (Lauren) Hamman, and Christy and YeSeul Foor. Family was very important to Bill, and whether it was building and planning their new addition to their house, or planning trips to his beloved lakes in Michigan, he was always looking for ways to serve his family.

He was known for being the best and most loving, supportive Papa to his grandchildren, William and Alexis. William and Alexis have many memories of Papa playing Santa, teaching them new skills, building things with them, or just giving the best hugs.

Bill had a soft spot for his dogs, Daisy, Rosie, and Ollie. He loved Daisy as his girl, and he always threw the ball for her, and was known to sneak treats and snacks to every dog. He told his girls, Christy and YeSeul, that he hated dogs, until one day he admitted that was a lie, just so he wouldn't have to hear begging for a dog, and he and each of his dogs were inseparable and always as loved as the humans in the family. He is throwing the ball to Daisy in heaven again and reunited with his furry-girls, Daisy and Rosie, who were most likely the first to greet him.

Bill was passionate about his jobs as a supervisor and maintenance supervisor at Ford in Monroe, and Kuka in Toledo, until his retirement. He was passionate about building Jeeps and would tell anyone who was a listening ear what he did. He was known by his employees to be a great boss and prided himself on being firm but fair. He dedicated many hours to his job, and was an incredibly hard worker, known for his intelligence and work ethic.

Bill was an active member of Gateway Church, beloved by his Life Group and friends there, passionate about charity and service, going on mission trips to Detroit and Louisiana.

Everyone who knew Bill knew he loved a challenge, he gave one hundred percent and was quite athletic. He completed many marathons as an avid runner and biked from Monroe to Mackinac City eleven times.

Bill will always be remembered for his dedication, grit, service, and generosity. Whether it was supporting various charities, working hard at Kuka and Ford as a memorable, firm but fair boss, or taking care of his family.

Bill was preceded in death by Greg Foor (brother), Rick (Chris) Foor (brother), his parents, Blanche and Howard Foor, and his first wife Pamela Foor. He is survived by his brother Mike (Anne) Foor and nieces and nephews Jason, Jeff, Kristina, Renee, and Sirena.

In lieu of a service, there will be an open house to celebrate Bill’s life on Saturday, November 22 at Gateway EPC Church, 9555 CR 9, Findlay, Ohio. Donations to Bridge Home Health and Hospice or flowers to celebrate his life would be a special tribute to Bill, as hospice was precious for Bill in his last days, and Bill loved to treat Stacey and his girls to flowers.

HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500) is honored to serve Bill’s family.
