A life-long resident of Northwest Ohio, Dr. Amanda Mullholand graduated from Mohawk High School in 2006. She attended the University of Findlay concentrating on the courses required to complete her Bachelor of Science Degree. After completing just five semesters at Findlay, she was accepted to the early entrance program at Palmer College of Chiropractic. She simultaneously completed the requirements for both her Bachelor of Science Degree and her Doctorate Degree and received both degrees from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2012. After completing her internship at 1st Place Chiropractic in St. Charles, Illinois she moved home to open Amanda’s Spinal Care. Amanda always wanted to be a doctor when she was growing up. As a high school student she knew she had to become a chiropractor when she witnessed the benefits of chiropractic care for her father. After struggling with back pain for years, he finally found a solution with chiropractic care. In addition, her six-month old young cousin who had suffered from colic since he was born got relief and was able to eat without pain and crying from his first chiropractic adjustment. While studying at Palmer, Amanda started suffering from daily headaches. Following the advice of a friend, she got relief from her headaches when she turned to a different type of Chiropractic care called NUCCA. She has passed all four parts of the Chiropractic National Board Exams plus the Physical Therapy National board Exam. She is a licensed Chiropractor in the State of Ohio. She is currently working on becoming NUCCA certified. This is a three step certification process requiring technique excellence in taking x-ray’s, adjusting, and analyzing x-ray’s. Amanda married her husband Derrick in 2014. Their first child Evelyn was welcomed into their family in February 2015.
