Healthy Guilt Free Meatza Pizza 😍🍕👩‍🍳

INGREDIENTS
FOR THE CRUST:

* 1/2 lb grass-fed ground beef

* 1/2 lb ground turkey

* 1 cage free organic egg, beaten

* 1/3 cup almond flour

* 2 tbsp organic Italian seasoning

* 1.5 tsp garlic powder

* 1.5 tsp onion powder

* 1 tsp Himalayan sea salt

(FOR THE TOPPINGS (OR SUB WHATEVER TOPPINGS YOU PREFER):

* 1 cup organic no sugar added pizza sauce (marinara)

* 1/4 organic bell pepper, sliced into thin strips

* 1/8 red onion, sliced into thin strips

* 2 cups shredded organic grass-fed Italian blend cheese (Organic Valley)

INSTRUCTIONS:

* Preheat oven to 400° Fahrenheit. Use a sheet pan with a lip as the crust will release fat while cooking. A 12 x 17 size pan is best for this recipe, as it will force you to spread the crust out nice and thin to reach the edges of the pan.

* Add all of the crust ingredients to a large bowl and mix well to incorporate all of the ingredients evenly (we use our hands).

* Spread the meat out on the baking pan and form it into a thin, even layer. Shape it into a circle if you wish or you can make a square pizza. Just try to spread it out evenly, about 1/4 inch thick.

* Place in the oven to bake for 15 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through. It will shrink and release some fat.

* Remove from the oven and carefully pour off the fat from the pan. Add the toppings to your pizza. Start with a base of sauce spread out in an even layer over the crust. Add the remaining toppings as desired.

* If desired, drizzle with olive oil (1 tsp)

* Place in the oven to cook for 10 more minutes.

* Remove and allow the meatza to cool for a few minutes. Cut into pieces, serve, and enjoy!

Due to an increasing number of inquiries about online training here is some information on virtual training with me. 😁💪🔥👊

Virtual personal training is live 1-on-1, buddy, or group training all done safely from your home, outdoors, or anywhere you can access Wi-Fi

You can use equipment you own or household items to be used as weights. Workouts can also be bodyweight. Sessions are 40 minutes long and consist of a custom, personalized program specific to your goals, needs, preferences, health, and fitness assessment. Workouts are not cookie cutter.

Virtual personal training is changing the way we exercise. You no longer need to have a gym membership, or find a trainer in your local area. Personal training can now come to you anywhere!

Schedule a time, just as you would in-person, only difference is it is delivered to you over the internet using video conferencing tools like Zoom or FaceTime.

Message me to book a trial session to meet me and ensure we are a great fit!

If you want motivation to exercise begin by making it FUN! Research confirms that when you find joy in exercising you are much more adherent and consistent. Find something enjoyable and it won’t feel like work.

I’ve trained and coached kids for many years. When I had them perform activities they didn’t like they dreaded it and said they were extremely exhausted. When I found clever ways to make it feel like a game they could move for hours on end and beg for more. Be sure to try every form of exercise you can to see what you prefer. You may not be fond of everything you attempt, but eventually you will find what makes you head over heels happy!

Try finding a workout buddy, get outside, and add some music. These things will be highly beneficial in helping you become the best version of you!

You’re either getting better or you’re getting worse. What are you doing to challenge yourself? How are you working on becoming the best version of you? We’ve been working on Olympic lifting and gymnastics this year. I may not be where I want to be, but I am better than yesterday! 😄

“The only way you gain mental toughness is to do things you're not happy doing. If you continue doing things that you're satisfied and make you happy, you're not getting stronger. You're staying where you're at. Either you're getting better, or you're getting worse. You're not staying the same.”
