GPHN members have opportunities to serve on mission trips or long-term assignments, to be involved from home with the medical ministries of Global Partners, and to learn more about medical ministry while being inspired by stories of other members and updates from around the world.

🎉 Congratulations and THANK YOU! 🎉

We want to celebrate the incredible team from All Shores Wesleyan Church who just spent a week at Kamakwie Wesleyan Hospital leading the 2nd Annual GPHN Kamakwie Medical Education Conference.

This dedicated team poured into community health officers, physician assistants, nurses and other staff, strengthening both clinical skills and confidence across the hospital. To cap off the week, they facilitated a one-day leadership training, investing deeply in the leaders who serve Kamakwie and the surrounding communities every day.

The willingness to teach, encourage, listen, and walk alongside our colleagues in Sierra Leone reflects the heart of partnership. The impact of this week will be felt far beyond these days.

Thank you for serving so faithfully and for helping advance hope, healing, and leadership at Kamakwie Wesleyan Hospital!

From day one, this church has stood behind the work of Global Partners Health Network through generosity, encouragement, prayer, and friendship. A recent dinner with the Global Outreach team was a small way to say thank you for a partnership that has helped GPHN make an impact around the world.

We’re excited to share that Global Partners Health Network is sponsoring Guerlande Toussaint, a first-year nursing student at the Wesleyan University of Haiti School of Nursing.

Her journey is just beginning, and we’re grateful to play a small part in supporting her education and calling.

More good news from Kamakwie! Final upgrades to the hospital’s solar power system are now underway, including the installation of additional panels, new batteries, and essential repairs to strengthen the system. These improvements will provide more reliable electricity for patient care across the entire hospital.

We’re grateful for the workers and partners who are making this possible. The photos show progress in action as we move toward a fully restored and resilient solar setup.

Upgrades are underway in the maternity ward at Kamakwie Wesleyan Hospital! New lightweight interior walls were recently installed to create private spaces for women as they labor and deliver—an important step toward improving comfort, dignity, and care for mothers.

We’re grateful for the hardworking team on the ground making this possible and for the partners who continue to support these improvements. We look forward to sharing more updates as the maternity ward continues to take shape.

Congratulations to Africa Wesleyan University College on the incredible momentum in Zambia! The recent visit from partners in the U.S., along with the collaboration with the Pilgrim Wesleyan Church in Zambia, Zimba Mission Hospital, and Zimba Nursing College, is a beautiful picture of shared mission and growth.

We’re especially excited to consider what this means for the future of nursing education in Zambia. As AWUC strengthens its partnerships and deepens its impact, we believe the ripple effects on hospitals, clinics, and communities will be felt for years to come.

Health Access in Action!

Despite heavy rains and busy farm schedules, over 100 women recently came out for cervical cancer screening in Kampong Thom, a rural province in Cambodia.

Cambodia has one of the highest cervical cancer rates in Asia, and many women in rural villages hesitate to seek care. That’s why this kind of community-based outreach—led by Global Partners missionaries and local partners—is so important.

Women were guided through HPV self-sampling and a simple visual test using vinegar to screen for and help catch cervical pre-cancer when it’s most treatable.

We’re grateful for the ongoing efforts bringing hope and healing to women in Cambodia.

Scenes from Maratane 🇲🇿

We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve and learn alongside WayfindersAfrica and our partners in the Maratane Refugee Camp and surrounding villages in Mozambique.

Our team had the opportunity to tour the camp’s hospital and donate essential medical supplies—thanks to many of you who support this work from afar!

In the villages, we partnered with local women for a nutrition program where mothers learn how to make nutrient-rich porridge for their babies using locally available ingredients.

We also facilitated a health education session with women in a nearby village, focusing on simple but impactful topics—sharing knowledge, stories, and hope.

God is moving here in quiet, powerful ways. Please continue to pray for the staff, mothers, and families who are finding ways to bring healing every day.
