Pets play an increasingly central role in our lives and well-being.
They are part of the family.

As the emotional bond we share with them grows stronger, so does the responsibility to ensure that the care they receive reflects the value they hold in our lives. Veterinary medicine continues to evolve in this direction, embracing diagnostic tools and clinical pathways that are more accurate, accessible, and efficient.

Clear imaging and reliable information are essential to support confident clinical decisions and timely diagnoses. When technology is designed around real veterinary needs, it becomes a valuable ally in everyday practice, helping translate insight into action and care into better outcomes.

This is how we support those who care for pets every day: by helping veterinary professionals see more clearly, so every animal can receive the care and love it deserves.

Happy National Pet Day to all the pets who make our lives better, every single day.

In veterinary medicine, time is one of the most critical resources.
Every decision requires speed, accuracy, and clinical sensitivity, in a constant balance between operational efficiency and animal care.

In this context, technology becomes more than a technical tool. It serves as a driver of workflow efficiency, simplifying and optimizing processes so veterinarians can focus on what truly matters.

When technology is designed for veterinary use from the very development stage, it fits seamlessly into real clinical workflows.
This vision drives the development of advanced systems and next-generation ultrasound solutions, designed with intuitive interfaces and integrated AI functionalities to fit seamlessly into clinical routines, enhancing usability, performance, and quality of care.

🧠 Cerebrovascular disorders are gaining increasing attention in small animal neurology, and MRI plays a pivotal role in their recognition and interpretation.

The second MRI webinar of the 2026 Esaote Vet series will focus on “Cerebral Microbleeds: MR Imaging and Clinical Cases”, exploring characteristic MRI patterns and their clinical relevance. An emerging and often under-recognised condition, cerebral microbleeds require accurate image interpretation and strong clinical correlation to support informed decision-making.

The session will be led by Federica Poli, DVM, Dipl. ECVN, board-certified veterinary neurologist with extensive expertise in advanced neuroimaging, cerebrovascular disorders and clinical neurology in small animals.

🐾 Veterinary Clinical Case – Episode 1 2026
In this first case of 2026, we meet Joy, an 8-year-old Beagle MC.

Presented with a history of seizures and acute onset status epilepticus, followed by disorientation and persistent circling toward the right side, Joy was immediately taken into care and underwent neurological investigations. The results have raised concerns about an underlying intracranial process.

The acquired images enabled a clear and precise neurological assessment, underscoring the critical value of advanced imaging in complex neurological cases.

MRI of the brain revealed a large, well-demarcated intra-axial lesion involving the right front-temporal lobes, and made a timely and accurate diagnosis possible for the patient, who immediately underwent medical management for seizure control and stabilization.
