About Life Chiropractic

About Life Chiropractic We are the leading Activator technique office in Fishers! We love working with people of all ages specializing in pregnancy, pediatric, and family care.

We are hear to welcome you and listen to you! We are about helping you find your solution! Chiropractic is the branch of the healing arts that deals with structure and function. Chiropractors have found that if there is pressure along the spine, irritating and interfering with a nerve, it will cause pain (function). It is highly probable that it will affect muscles, joints, blood vessels and even

organs and glands (structure). It is the chiropractor’s job to determine if such a problem exists and if it can be relieved. Advanced technology and extensive diagnostic training assure the chiropractic physician – and you – that the findings are valid and the prognosis reliable. Below is a partial list of conditions that may readily respond to chiropractic care:

Neck Pain
Repetitive Motion Injuries
Headaches
Extremity Pain
Sinus & Allergies
Childhood Infections
Numbness/Tingling
Carpal Tunnel Sciatica
Sports Injuries Auto Injuries
Back Pain
And Many Other Conditions

What’s stressing your kid’s spine daily?🤔

Kids’ bodies are constantly growing, adapting, and taking on stress-often without them ever saying a word.

From screen time and school posture to sports and everyday play, these small, repeated patterns can shape how their spine and nervous system function over time.

That’s why we check-not because something is “wrong,” but to support how they’re growing.

Proactive. Gentle. Purposeful.💛
Because healthy habits start early.

✨The transition from winter to spring often highlights significant postural, muscular, and joint issues developed during colder months—a phenomenon known as “winter posture” or “winter hibernation”.

❄️During winter, reduced activity, increased screen time, and a subconscious tendency to hunch against the cold lead to tight chest muscles, rounded shoulders, forward head posture, and weak core muscles.

🏃🏻‍♀️As activity increases in spring, these imbalances can lead to pain, reduced mobility, and a higher risk of injury.

🌷Slowly increasing your spring activity, allowing time to rest and recover, and getting your nervous system aligned can help get rid of you winter posture.

Key Seasonal Stressors (Winter to Spring)
~Circadian Rhythm and Sleep Disruptions: As daylight increases, the body’s internal clock must recalibrate. Longer days can lead to reduced melatonin, resulting in sleep disruptions, restlessness, and fatigue.
~Hormonal Shifts and Mood: The change in daylight impacts serotonin (mood regulator) and melatonin (sleep regulator). This shift can cause anxiety, irritability, and energy dips.
~Immune System Stress: While winter typically weakens the immune system, the spring transition can cause fatigue as the body tries to adapt, causing a sluggish feeling.
~Spring Allergies: Increasing pollen levels lead to congestion, inflammation, and brain fog.
~Physical Adaptation: The body struggles to adjust to fluctuating temperatures and weather shifts, which can lead to headaches, joint pain, or reduced energy levels.

Management Strategies
~Get Natural Light: Seek sunlight early in the day to stabilize the internal clock.
~Maintain Routine: Keep a consistent sleep and wake schedule to aid the circadian rhythm.
~Prioritize Nutrition: Stay hydrated and eat nutrient-dense food to combat fatigue.
~Manage Allergies Early: Utilize over-the-counter or prescribed allergy management to reduce inflammation.
~Slow Activity Increase: Gradually increase physical activity as the weather warms, allowing the body to adjust to the new pace.
~Get Your Nervous System Regulated: Getting a regular adjustment can help alleviate the symptoms and discomforts of transitioning from Winter to Spring.
