a, Babesia, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, ankylosing spondylitis, and a double mutation of the MTHFR gene, I struggled with debilitating symptoms, including chronic pain, mobility limitations, fatigue, and mental health challenges. These illnesses profoundly impacted my life, but cannabis became a turning point in my healing journey. Through its use, I found relief, managed most of my symptoms, and reduced my reliance on pain medications. This personal transformation led me to explore the cannabis industry further, initially for my own healing. However, as I shared my products with others, I discovered their potential to help those grappling with similar health issues. What began as a personal quest evolved into a mission to provide relief and hope to others. My education in cannabis medicine is rooted in the work and research of industry pioneers such as Max Montrose (Trichome Institute), Dr. Ethan Russo, Jorge Cervantes, and Raphael Mechoulam, among others. Their knowledge has guided my understanding and approach to developing effective and reliable products. With the encouragement of my wife and others who believed in my vision, we launched Cosmec Healing. As a small, family-owned business, our goal is to educate, empower, and provide products that truly make a difference. Every ingredient we use is of the highest quality, organic whenever possible, and in full compliance with federal hemp laws. Additionally, all our terpenes and cannabinoids undergo rigorous third-party testing to ensure safety and effectiveness. Yesterday after physical therapy I stopped by right down the street in Salisbury. It’s a newer spot and I grabbed some Cosmec Healing along with a little flower.

I also had some donations to drop off to aka Johnny. This guy is just good energy. I don’t even remember exactly how we first connected, but I’m glad we did. He shared more of his story with me and I’ve always respected people who take tough situations and turn them into something that helps others.

He’s always out there showing up, supporting the less fortunate, checking in on seniors, just doing what he can for his community. It’s real and it’s consistent.

Elijah, a budtender over at recently shared his personal experience with us and it honestly hit close to home. Not because it sounded like a sales pitch, but because it didn’t. It was just real.

He talked about his journey with Lyme disease, what he’s been dealing with over the years, and how he’s been exploring different options along the way. Hearing someone in a patient facing role speak openly about what they’ve personally tried and what stood out to them, means so much to us.

That’s the difference.

It’s not about “selling” anything. It’s about people sharing their experiences, and others deciding what might be worth exploring for themselves.

Over the past 10+ years, I’ve been fortunate to work with people from all walks of life, each on their own journey.
Days like today are a reminder of why this all matters. Hearing story after story from people who’ve been able to step away from or reduce certain medications and find something that works better for them never gets old. It’s something I’ll never take for granted.
There was a time when I was incarcerated for six months because of this plant. Today, it’s considered essential. That perspective never leaves me.
I’m proud to have spent over a decade in the legal industry, doing everything from cleaning bathrooms and mopping floors to helping patients find what works for them, managing operations, handling inventory and ordering, and being part of building multiple successful businesses.
I’ve been lucky to work with some of the best in the industry. I’m especially grateful to MariMed for taking a chance on me and helping bring the award winning GOLD products to life. Grateful for an incredible sales team, brand ambassadors, and the opportunity to keep growing.
I’m also thankful for the relationships built along the way and the respect earned from people in the industry like Sarah, Marina, Otto, SugaKane, Kathy, Keisha, Gabe, Damian, Rick, Wyatt, my wife and so many others who continue to spread positivity, education, and do good in the community.
