February is Age-related Macular Degeneration Awareness Month.
Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is one of the leading causes of vision loss in adults over 50 — and many people don’t notice early symptoms.
Macular degeneration affects your central vision, which you rely on for reading, driving, recognizing faces, and seeing fine details.
While there is no cure for AMD, early detection matters. With regular comprehensive eye exams, we can monitor changes, identify risk factors, and recommend treatment or nutritional support to help slow progression of vision loss.
If you’re over 50 — this is your reminder to schedule your annual eye exam. Visit sdec2020.com.
Your vision is worth protecting.
