Thank you to our amazing volunteers who are out here rain snow or shine (literally!), to make sure our horses are always taken care of. Now they can be warm and fed while we enjoy the beauty of winter.

🦃 Happy Thanksgiving from Horses Heroes and Hope! 🐴

As we all prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving, we want to take a moment to say how truly thankful we are for everyone who’s part of this incredible organization.

We’re grateful for our horses, who show up every day ready to help us heal in their own quiet, honest way.

We’re grateful for our heroes, who remind us what strength and resilience really look like.

And we’re grateful to all our donors, supporters, volunteers, and friends who give this program hope and love.

So today, we just want to say thank you.

Thank you for believing in what we do.

Thank you for showing up and thank you for helping create a space where healing, courage, and a little horse magic happen every day.

Wishing you a warm, peaceful, and very happy Thanksgiving from all of us, two and four-legged alike. 🧡

Honoring Our Veterans

Today, we take time to recognize and honor those who’ve served our country and the quiet strength they carry with them every day, through visible service and the unseen battles that come after.

At Horses Heroes and Hope, we are continually inspired by the resilience of our veterans and by the healing connection that forms between humans' and horses. Together, they remind us that strength comes in many forms, and that hope can grow from even the toughest battles.

We also want to thank all our supporters, donors and funders for making our work possible. You make a difference.

🐎 Happy Birthday to the United States Marine Corps!

Today we’re celebrating 250 years of the Marine Corps, and giving a special shoutout to the Marines on our Horses Heroes and Hope team. Your grit, humor, and heart show up in everything you do, both in and out of uniform.

We’re grateful for your service, your leadership, and the way you show up for the team, people and horses alike.

Semper Fi, and thank you for all you’ve given and continue to give. ❤️💪

🎃👻 Happy Halloween from Horses, Heroes, and Hope! 👻🎃

The barn is full of boo-tiful costumes, happy nickers, and just a few spooky surprises! 🐴✨ Our horses might not be too excited about the costumes, but they do think the treat bucket is pretty magical. 🍎🦴

As we celebrate today, we’re reminded that every day here is about courage, healing, and a little bit of magic...the kind that happens when horses and humans help each other grow (and have fun along the way). 💜🐎

Today is National First Responders Day. We are honored to recognize the brave and dedicated few who show up when it matters most.

At Horses, Heroes & Hope, we work with many of these incredible people, as they navigate the challenges that come with a life of service. The connection between horses and humans offers a quiet place to decompress, rebuild trust, and find balance again.

To all first responders, thank you for what you do, every day.

After a few cold days we got a beautiful sunny morning. Horses, people and all other animals had a wonderful time together.

These last couple of weeks have been so wild. We had storms, windy days, sunny days and everything in between. But more than anything, we've had very meaningful days. We are so honored to provide space for anyone who needs a little horse time.

Equine First Aid workshop led by AZ Equine First Aid this weekend. What an awesome workshop! And thank you and donors, AZ Community Foundation of Flagstaff, the Lyons Family Foundation, and the NAH Office of Philanthropy for supporting our work and making it possible for us to host the workshop and provide free spots for our veterans.
