They're working toward a $25,000 goal to support compassionate end-of-life care for local families.

Today, we celebrate an incredible legacy as we honor Dave Hill on his last day with Northland Hospice. 💙

Dave dedicated 28 years of service to hospice care — first volunteering 6 years with Verde Valley Hospice, then 22 remarkable years with Northland Hospice. Alongside his wife, Terri, Dave has given back to our community in countless ways, but one of their most lasting impacts has been their longtime support of NAU Men’s Football and Women’s Golf through their endowment.

Dave also launched our Pet Therapy Program, bringing comfort and joy to so many patients. Through the years, we’ve been blessed by four amazing therapy dogs — Zane, Murphy, Louie, and Lady — all because of Dave’s vision and heart. 🐾

Thank you, Dave, for your unwavering dedication, your kindness, and the compassion you’ve shared with our patients, families, and staff for more than two decades. Your impact will be felt for generations to come. 💜

We will be taking a short break over Thanksgiving weekend. During that time you can stop by any of our Community Partner's with a wreath display.

Northland Hospice & Palliative Care is a nonprofit hospice that serves the diverse communities of Northern Arizona with compassionate end-of-life care, regardless of ability to pay. We are devoted to extending our loving knowledge, hearts and hands to offer guidance through life’s transitions. At the heart of our devoted and professional service is the profound respect for the patient’s wishes.

Our team of professionals aspires to prepare our patients and families for the end-of-life experience in a positive and dignified way. We cooperate and collaborate with a huge regional network to support the patient, family, and friends in facing the challenges of a life-limiting illness by offering physical, emotional, and spiritual support and comfort before and after a patient dies.
