Did You Know?

HypnoBirthing doesn’t mean being “hypnotized” or unaware during labor — it’s about guiding parents to a place of deep awareness, calm focus, and instinctive control.

As birth professionals, we know that fear and tension trigger the release of adrenaline — the very hormone that can slow or stall labor. Through HypnoBirthing, we help families shift that physiology, activating oxytocin and endorphins instead — the hormones that make birth smoother, more efficient, and often more comfortable.

When we teach parents to quiet the conscious mind and trust their innate birthing wisdom, they stay connected, responsive, and empowered.
They aren’t “checked out” — they’re fully tuned in.

By reframing what “hypnosis” means, we invite families to rediscover birth as it was meant to be: calm, confident, and deeply instinctive.

The cry it out method doesn’t teach a baby to self-regulate.
It teaches them that no one is coming.
That their cries don’t matter.
That connection is conditional.
That comfort has limits.

A baby doesn’t stop crying because they’ve learned to cope.
They stop because they’ve given up.

Because the one person they needed… didn’t come.

You’re not spoiling your baby by responding.
You’re showing them their voice matters.
That they are safe.
That their needs will be met.

How often are you breastfeeding/pumping?

Breastfeeding is a supply-and-demand process. After the first few days of colostrum, your milk will come in. About 8-12 feeding sessions or more within a 24-hour time period is a good amount of nursing sessions. You will want to keep an eye on two key indicators: Diaper Changes and Weight Gain!

Keep in mind, breastfeeding is more than the quantity of milk. Yes, breast milk is delicious and nutritious, but breastfeeding is also a bonding time with your baby. You get to provide comfort, warmth and love all while also providing nutrition. Getting to know your baby and their signs of hunger as well as their signs of when they have enough to eat is important. If you are having concerns with providing for your baby, make sure to contact your healthcare provider or pediatrician.

This is one of my favourite breastfeeding facts! I genuinely can’t get over how incredible this is! Nature is divine 🤱🏼 This also works on hot days, you might notice your milk has a higher water content if you pump on hot days ensuring your littles are much more hydrated 🤯 mind blowing
