Health First Foundation Northern Arizona Health First Foundation is dedicated to improving health and well-being in our region. We are a 501(c)(3) public charity.

We believe every person has the right to live their happiest, healthiest self. Our focus at Health First Foundation is to nurture opportunities that make this possible. In doing so, we increase the positive impact on health in our region, especially for our most vulnerable populations. With the ever-changing landscape of health and care, we see countless inspiring examples of individuals and nonprofit organizations in our local communities collaborating to enrich the lives of others in the places we call home. Community builders at heart, we are passionate about connecting people with impact. Here’s a snapshot of what we do:

115 ninth and tenth-grade students from across Northern Arizona attended the United Way YES! Leadership Summit, made possible in part by a grant from Health First Foundation. Students explored the meaning of leadership, discussed the challenges of being a teenager today, and shared ideas for navigating everyday obstacles.

Tomorrow, February 25th, is Youth Experiencing Success (YES!) Leadership Summit at Northern Arizona University! Health First Foundation Northern Arizona was fortunate to supply United Way of Northern Arizona with a grant for the summit, allowing students across Arizona a full-day experience focused on leadership, financial literacy, and cultural identity. The event is designed to bolster self-esteem and mental well-being while fostering a deeper sense of community and belonging.

We are a nonprofit charity advancing our region’s health priorities with support for Northern Arizona Healthcare and other health-focused community nonprofit organizations. We see countless inspiring examples of groups collaborating to enrich the lives of people in northern Arizona. The potential for us all to live as our happiest, healthiest selves is endless. Community builders at heart, we are passionate about connecting people to our shared efforts to improve the health and welfare of those around us. We do this by hosting special events that link people to worthy health causes, by awarding grants to innovative community health projects, and by connecting people with opportunities to make a difference.
