Garry's wife Marcia lives with dementia. When she moved to Villa at Terracina Grand, he watched her form meaningful connections and find a sense of calm he hadn't seen in years. We are thankful for our amazing culinary team, who created a delicious Thanksgiving meal for our community! It was a great day together. Our resident, Laurie, also spread extra Thanksgiving joy in her turkey costume, giving everyone a good laugh!

We enjoyed a trip of exploration and learning as we recently visited the Museum of Northern Arizona with residents from our Pearls of Life® memory care neighborhood and The Peaks Health & Rehabilitation! Everyone enjoyed themselves and had great feedback when they returned. Resident Evelyn H. stated, “it’s a fascinating place!”

Earlier this week, we received a special visit from the youth group of Hope Church! The visiting children proudly came with open arms and ready to spread holiday cheer! They delivered special homemade holiday crafts with warm wishes for a happy Thanksgiving!

Puente de Hozho Elementary School, a trilingual school here in town, presented us with a wonderful choir music performance earlier this week. They also made a special recognition to honor our Veterans as they sang patriotic songs and personally thanked every Veteran and the families of our Veterans that were in attendance. Resident Bill A. reconnected with choir student Lucy P. and embraced each other with a warm hug.
