Dr. Douglas Savery has a passion for providing professional quality eye care with a personal touch. Dr. Douglas Savery grew up in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

After doing undergraduate studies at Arizona State University, he went on to attend the Southern California College of Optometry where he received his doctorate in optometry. Dr. Savery has been offering quality eye care in northern Arizona since moving to Flagstaff in 1990. He takes tremendous pride in providing old fashion eye care with the latest in high technology equipment. Dr. Savery enjoys camping, hiking, and kayaking and his two kids both attend Northern Arizona University. With the opening of Dr. Savery's new location inside Target Optical he is able to offer more convenience to his patients. Not only can you book online but he also offers extended hours during the week and is also available on Saturdays and every other Sunday. He takes most major insurances to include: Eyemed, Aetna, Cigna Vision, Davis Vision, United Health Care, Spectera, and Avesis, to name a few. The Target Optical next door offers a wide assortment of designer glasses to include RayBan, Oakley, Coach, Vogue, and Dolce & Gabbana which are sure to offer you a stylish pair of glasses you'll see great out of and love. They also have a large selection of contacts in stock and offer fast, free shipping for those that require an order. In addition to prescribing glasses , Dr. Savery is proficient in the fitting of contact lenses as well as evaluating and treating eye health problems. Dr. Savery's expertise in fitting specialty contacts can help patients with astigmatism, those in need of bifocal correction, and patients with other special vision needs to see comfortably and clearly with contact lenses.
