APTA AZ Student Special Interest Group

APTA AZ Student Special Interest Group This is a networking/information-sharing page for the AzPTA Student Special Interest group (AzSSIG). Now is the time to get involved!!

SSIG is an organization formed by the students for the students. The Student Special Interest Group:
- Provides a format for social interaction between students from different schools within the state.

- Participates in events promoting the profession of physical therapy and membership in the APTA.

- Creates forums allowing students to discuss current topics and issues concerning physical therapy community.

- Represents the interests of SSIG members before the official decision making bodies of the state, national organization, and other components—we are the STUDENTS VOICE!!!

- Encourages student legislative action, involvement, and understanding in issues pertaining to the future of physical therapy.

- Prepares SSIG members for future participation and leadership roles within the APTA. Find your voice, advocate for your profession, enhance your educational experience, and capitalize on your chance to expand your network!
