HOSA students had a wonderful time spreading some Easter joy at the nursing home today! 💛

Residents enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon that included festive games, a special visit from the Easter Bunny, spring hat decorating, and even an Easter egg hunt! 🌷🐰🐣👒🥚

Student enjoyed planning and putting these activities together and spending time with residents . Thank you to Braxton Healthcare Center for having us!

♥️‼️UPDATE—all uniforms have been fully funded! We are SO grateful for the generosity of donors in our wonderful community. ‼️♥️

We are so proud to share the success of our students at the WV HOSA State Leadership Conference. Several of our members have qualified to compete at the international level this June. 🎉

Our Public Health team, including Kamryn Smith, Emily Martin, and Addison Moore, earned 1st place in the state, while Mackinzey Anderson placed 2nd in Health Career Photography. In addition, Alexander Dennison and Joslynn Napier earned 1st place in Health Education for their project teaching 2nd graders proper infection control strategies.

As these students prepare to represent our school and community on the international stage, we are seeking donations to help cover the cost of official HOSA uniforms.

To make this more accessible, uniforms have been divided into sections, allowing supporters to sponsor a specific portion. Every contribution directly supports our students and helps them take this next big step.

This weekend, ten BCHS HOSA members attended their state conference at Marshall University. Each student worked so hard studying and preparing for this event. They showed up and showed out last night, earning 5 gold medals and 1 silver. We are so proud of each student who competed and demonstrated their commitment to learning and developing future healthcare professionals. 🩺💚💛

Congratulations to the following students who placed in the top 3 of their event and qualified to compete at the international level in Indianapolis, Indiana this June:

HOSA students delivered Christmas presents for their adopted resident today. A simple visit and giving back this holiday season reminded us how impactful kindness can be—for them and for us.
