Join us

Join the Open Door Recovery Center, Family Support Center, and Hunterdon County Operation Helping Hand as we and celebrate the 2nd annual on Saturday October 5th! Our teams will be packing care kits for our friends at and Veterans Haven North from 1pm-4pm at The Center at 5 East Main Street in Flemington; afterward, those who are interested and able can help us with delivery, too!

We will also be collecting non-perishable food items to donate to the ; needed items include diapers, peanut butter, canned chicken, mac & cheese, fruit cups, white rice, canned black beans, pasta and pasta sauce, canned corn, and crackers. Please bring what you can to share with our neighbors!

Light refreshments will be provided; please register at tinyurl.com/RDOS2024 so we have enough food for all! We can't wait to see you!

COMING SOON! A new day and time for our Harm Reduction Works meeting, with new friends! We are proud to be partnering with Prevention is Key and to offer a collaborative HRW meeting with rotating facilitators every month. This meeting will be a place for folks to explore harm reduction strategies in a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space. All are welcome, especially folks using substances, their family members, and other allies and supporters.

Meets Tuesdays at 11am on Zoom starting September 24th.

Not all heroes wear capes- some carry naloxone!

Join us out in Hunterdon and Somerset for Save A Life Day 2024 on Thursday September 26th as Prevention Resources participates in the largest naloxone distribution event this side of Mississippi.

Join us and the Family Support Center VIRTUALLY on Monday September 16th at 6:00pm on Zoom for a naloxone training! Naloxone, commonly known as Narcan, is used to reverse an opioid overdose. While you may or may not know someone who uses opioids, we believe that naloxone is like a fire extinguisher; every home should have a kit! Participants will receive a free Naloxone nasal spray kit upon completion. Registration is required, please contact Amy Hicks at ahicks@njprevent.com or Matteo Giles @njprevent.com to register.
