Congratulations to a true hero! We have seen him go above and beyond for everyone he meets and this award is truly well-deserved!
Congratulations to Alberto Maneri, Radiology Manager, Hunterdon Health's Employee of the Year! Alberto has been employed by Hunterdon Health for 36 years.
Here are a few highlights from Alberto’s nominations:
• Alberto doesn't just oversee the department but he steps in and fills in at registration when they are short staffed. He goes above and beyond his designated responsibilities and is a huge help and responds immediately if there are any problems.
• Alberto exemplifies the core values of Hunterdon Health. He is very knowledgeable, dedicated and demonstrates a strong work ethic. He often goes to all of the outside facilities to help and is a mentor for so many employees.
• During COVID, Alberto was the one who would screen the outpatients in a private area with the safety gear needed to protect himself. We had a tent in the doctor’s parking lot and he was the coordinator and had a team of people that all worked together during that time.
• Alberto is the epitome of accountability. He is very thoughtful and caring to everyone he meets. He is open and authentic and fosters open communication among staff.
• Alberto motivates and delegates teammates to work together and achieve a goal. He is an upward thinker who focuses on developing others. He is very inclusive and respects his fellow employees and actively listens to all voices and treats everyone equally. He values and supports the needs of people from different cultures and backgrounds. He never excludes anyone based on their characteristics or abilities.
• Alberto is committed to listening, and is actively seeking out ways to encourage and support colleagues even under pressure. He shows enthusiasm for the work demonstrating a willingness to go the extra mile.
• Alberto takes on additional responsibilities when needed. He provides constructive feedback to his colleagues and staff. He is a very positive role model.
• Alberto is empowered by encouraging employees to do their best and recognizes their accomplishments. He is flexible. He comes in early or stays late to ensure we have coverage and creates a culture that values collaboration, trust and diversity. He is a true asset to Hunterdon Health.
