🌸 I’m honored to offer wings at NC Arboretum in Asheville NC May 30 & 31 as I’m also offering Native plants from Milkweed Meadows.

🍯 I’m psyched about Center for Honeybee Research Honeyfest at Highland Brewing Company Meadow on June 7.

🦋 It was my honor to support Bee City USA Asheville and the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce at the ribbon cutting for Asheville Butterfly Trail.

🦋 This event yesterday represents the culmination of a year of planning for a trail of human-scale butterflies placed in strategic locations throughout our area. Each of the fifteen or so butterflies to be featured are native to Western North Carolina.

🦋 I joined others in honoring our city’s commitment to this incredible pollinator. My friend Phyllis Styles, founder of Bee City USA has worked tirelessly planning these human size models perfect for photos as we add whimsical fun and we educate all who visit. Asheville added a great virtual element to the that will grow to include many stops throughout the city. So great to know you can capture a fun photo AND learn more easily!

Sunday is big! It’s my birthday and annual Honeyfest at Salvage Station. Sure, I’d love to spend my birthday with hundreds of friends to benefit Center for Honeybee Research. Happy to join many other pollinator supporters such as Honeybee Bliss MTN FOLK LORE and Shanti Elixirs . We love the live music and happiness level at Honeyfest! 🏳️‍🌈 So psyched for Blue Ridge Pride celebration this Saturday, September 30. Mark is joining me to work this day long celebration on our wedding anniversary. It seems fitting that we constant allies support equality on the day celebrating when tied the knot.
🌈 This is a day you can truly come be yourself with no judgment. It certainly was a blast last year and this year feels more needed. It’s a day that we advocate that all who have rights don’t lose them. And how about the logo featuring a black bear and a hellbender?
✋🏾 High five to all in communities who already celebrated Pride during June. I was so happy to be a party of Hendersonville NC Pride with rainbow wings at the photo booth. I will always cherish memories of particiaiting in and supporting Columbus Community Pride. We even celebrated one year with Long Beach Pride with Janine and Mary Zedella which was a very festive celebration! 🏳️‍🌈. Which Pride celebration have you been a part of?

Join me Saturday at 11 AM at DuPont State Forest Festival for a free kids yoga class.
There are fun activities all day long! We’ll end class at 11:45 so we can all visit with Smokey Bear! Meet at Guion Farm, DuPont State Forest for all the activities.

Yep there will be hikes, demonstrations and food trucks from 10-3.

This is a sure way to enjoy this perfect early fall weather. Thanks to Friends of DuPont Forest for planning athe event!
