Please welcome the newest member to the Lifespan Therapy team - Linda!!!
Linda is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice in North Carolina. She earned her master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Western Carolina University in 2023 and is excited to be joining Lifespan Therapy.
Linda has experience providing services across pediatric and adult populations. Her clinical background includes work in skilled nursing facilities, where she has supported individuals with dysphagia, cognitive-communication disorders, Alzheimer’s disease, and other neurogenic conditions. She also has experience with preschool-aged children, working with Intensive Intervention (II) students in school-based settings.
Linda is passionate about delivering evidence-based, individualized care that supports both functional communication and safe swallowing. She values collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams to ensure each client receives comprehensive and compassionate support. She is committed to continuing education and plans to pursue additional certifications and specialized training to further expand her clinical expertise.
Outside of work, Linda enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs, Beau and Claire. She has a love for music and enjoys playing the piano, being active in her church community, and spending quality time outdoors with family and friends.
