Today, on Doctors’ Day, we’re taking a moment to celebrate the incredible physicians who make our office what it is not just through their knowledge and skill, but through their heart, their humor, and the way they show up for patients and staff every single day. 🤍
Dr. Varghese- our opening physician and the foundation of this practice. For over 30 years, he has dedicated himself to his patients with a level of precision and thoughtfulness that truly sets the standard. He’s the kind of doctor who notices the small things, who takes the extra time, and who genuinely wants to get it right every single time. This practice exists because of his vision, and we’re so grateful to continue what he started.
We also hold close the memory of Dr. Rao, his partner in opening this practice. An incredibly accomplished physician and a leader in so many spaces, but more than that, someone who truly cared about his patients, his colleagues, and this work. His loss in 2024 was deeply felt by all of us. There isn’t a day that goes by where his impact isn’t still present in some way. He helped shape what this practice is, and he will always be part of it.
Dr. Youssef- the definition of kindness and compassion. Patients feel it immediately. He has such a calm, reassuring presence that makes people feel safe and genuinely cared for, all while somehow managing to stay incredibly efficient. It’s not something you can teach, it’s just who he is.
Dr. Sabbagh- efficient, detail-oriented, and always making sure things are done the right way. He holds a high standard, and because of that, our patients receive consistently excellent care. But he also brings so much personality to the team, whether it’s a dad joke or just a quick moment of humor, he knows how to lighten the mood when it’s needed most.
Dr. Ghatol- one of the hardest-working physicians we know, and a devoted dad on top of it all. He gives so much of himself to both his family and his patients. Even though the hospital might have a special place in his heart, his patients constantly talk about how kind and attentive he is. That kind of bedside manner doesn’t go unnoticed.
Dr. Moughrabieh- a leader in every sense of the word. From running the fellowship program to helping guide this practice forward, he puts so much time and care into everything he does. And while we might joke that he takes a little longer with patients, it’s only because he truly listens and cares and they absolutely love him for that. He’s also another amazing, hardworking dad who somehow balances it all.
Dr. Alkhankan- bringing energy into every room he walks into. He keeps things moving, always thinking ahead, and somehow does it all with kindness and a genuine care for people. His drive is unmatched, but what stands out most is how much his patients appreciate him, and how much we do too. Another incredible dad who gives his all both at work and at home.
And to our fellows, you hold such a special place in this practice. Watching you grow into confident, capable physicians has been something we don’t take for granted. You come in eager, you put in the work, and over time we get to see you truly find your footing. It’s inspiring, honestly. You become part of our day to day, part of our team, and it’s never easy to see you go. We mean it when we say we wish we could keep every single one of you. Wherever you end up, you’re going to make a difference, and we’re so proud to have been even a small part of your journey.
Today is about more than medicine, it’s about the people behind it. The long days, the sacrifices, the balance between being incredible physicians and present, hardworking dads. We see it, and we appreciate it more than we probably say.
