Robotic bronchoscopy system has high diagnostic yield among patients with moderate-risk peripheral lung nodules, study finds
Healio (7/15, Hornick) reports a study found that “among patients with moderate-risk peripheral lung nodules, a robotic bronchoscopy system had high diagnostic yield.” The research found “the diagnostic yield of the Galaxy System was high falling between 89.5% and 94.7%.” Additionally, “the robotic navigated bronchoscopy system had high diagnostic accuracy (94.7%), sensitivity (94.4%) and specificity (100%).” The findings were published in Respirology.
