Always good to get feedback for a former student. Great Job!!!
My name is Christina, I refer to Chrissie. However, I would like to share an experience that I had on Friday late afternoon. While on my way to pick my husband up from work and pulling into the Meijer Gas station, I couldn't help but noticed an individual hunched over behind her car and her husband next to her and a lady who was trying to call someone. As I was walking into the station an employee came outside and all they did was ask if they needed a Manager. I stood there for a quick moment and NOT one person was tending to this ladies attention. I ran over and gave my name, and told them I was certified in CPR and the man and lady said they didn't know how. I asked if 911 was called and I quickly turned to the class training you gave. I was scared out of my mind and shaking the whole time. I was laying her down and the lady standing there said she finally had 911 on the phone, I told her (911) my name and the condition of the lady and I could not see her breathing and as soon as 911 said tilt her head back start CPR I had already started CPR it was as we had it in sync. I could only focus on what you taught did that day and nothing else. My hands were getting tired and a man ran up and seen me and tried to help. I quickly handed over when Paramedics came, and was relieved when i heard "She is breathing" I don't know of the outcome and I only pray that it was good. As for that day, the staff in the gas station all hugged me and took my name. But, I didn't get any sleep that whole night. This is one major life saving advise you gave me, and who would have ever thought it would be used. I have you to thank. I work at Knudsen Elementary in Waterford and I have a lot of children under my care, I feel proud and confident with the tools you provided to me that day. More than ever now. Mr Cooper, Thank you so very much for the service you provide and instruction you give. It will be my forever goal to encourage as much people to learn CPR.
Sincerely,
Chrissie ,
