Having monitored John's vision for years, Dr Waters was able to pick up on early changes to his retina, which led to a diagnosis of diabetes and diabetic retinopathy. Since then John as had cataract surgery with the Symfony lens implants and continues his active lifestyle with great vision. "I was stunned at how quick and easy the surgery was," he said. Glaucoma is tricky. Half the people who have it don't know they have it, and the only good detection is a dilated eye exam. Although glaucoma can't be "cured" it can be treated to help prevent vision loss.

Beloved family practice physician, Dr. Ron Coriasso just had his cataract surgery done by Dr. Waters. He said he was blind without glasses and as an avid golfer he didn't like being dependent on his contacts.

He chose the Symfony lens implants so he could have functional vision without glasses and contacts. At his recent trip to Ford Field to watch MSU play, he said he could read all of the text on the signage from across the field. "I can read my computer and patient charts without glasses now," he said. "Everything worked like clockwork at Complete Eye Care and The Surgery Center. It's really an anti-aging treatment - I feel 25 again!."
