Typically, Feb 7 is recognized as National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day . While some may try to scrub this day from the official calendar or act as if the crisis has vanished, the reality in our community remains unchanged. Black and Brown communities continue to bear the heaviest burden of this epidemic-not because of biology, but because of systemic neglect.
This Black History Month, we honor our history by protecting our future. We won't be erased, and we won't stay silent. Enjoy an evening of community as we celebrate with an open mic nite rooted in the timeless energy of Love Jones...
