From a Perfect Storm Mama’s Heart 🤍
I remember the day we got the diagnosis like it was yesterday. The racing thoughts… the worry… the “what does this mean for her future?” As a mom, it’s overwhelming. But one thing was always clear, my child comes first, and I will always advocate for her.
For so long, it felt like the world saw her as “too much”… or “too busy.” “Too emotional. Too distracted.”
We started researching and then we found something different. Chiropractic! From the very first visit, Dr. MacDonald didn’t see a problem to fix…He saw my child. He listened. He cared. He understood. And he truly welcomed her with open arms.
We chose, as a family, to walk this journey unmedicated, we wanted her to be herself, to shine bright and to support her body the way it was designed to function.
And that’s when everything started to change. ✨
Since beginning care:
🤍 She’s learning how to cope with her anxiety and ADHD
🤍 Her behaviors are improving—noticed by her teachers
🤍 Her learning scores are going up
🤍 She’s gaining confidence in herself
But most importantly…
🤍 My daughter is coming home happy.
She isn’t coming home saying she’s a “bad kid” anymore. She’s coming home confident.
She’s coming home telling me how proud she is of herself. And as her mom… that means everything.
Because behind every “good day” is my child who is finally able to function, regulate, focus, and thrive.
Through this journey and process we have learned that the nervous system controls everything, how our kids process emotions, handle stress, focus in the classroom, sleep, and grow. When there’s interference, their little bodies have to work so much harder.
But when the nervous system is supported and functioning the way it’s supposed to…that’s when we start to see the breakthroughs.
We are beyond grateful. Not just for the changes we’re seeing… but for the way we were and are treated along the way. Thank you, Dr. MacDonald, for taking the time to truly listen. For seeing her for who she is.
For walking this “perfect storm” journey with us.
You’ve truly changed more than her health, you’ve changed how she sees herself. And to this mama, that is everything. 🤍
