Think about who you were five or ten years ago and what you’d be proud of today. Write down three things. Maybe you’re calmer now or more patient. We often forget that growth hides in the everyday. Seeing it written down helps you realize how far you’ve come.

𝗦𝗲𝘁 𝗔 𝟭𝟬-𝗠𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸. 𝗡𝗼 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰. 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀.
Go outside without headphones or your phone. Walk for ten minutes and see what’s around you. The cloud shapes, flowers, cracks in the pavement that look like maps. It’s a reset disguised as exercise. Let your senses lead instead of your thoughts. You’ll return with a lighter heart and a quieter mind.

Scent can shift your mood faster than thought. Look for something that smells good. Pause for one deep breath. Let it anchor you to the present. Sometimes a moment of scent is enough to remind you that you’re here, you’re safe, and there’s still sweetness around you.

Smile at people today, cashiers, drivers, or someone passing on the street. The trick is not to expect any smiles in return. Just offer one as a small act of light. You might be the first person all day who acknowledges them. That’s the quiet power of kindness. It ripples out even if you never see where it lands.

"The staff here is amazing! The girls up front are incredibly accommodating with my schedule and never make me feel like a bother (even when I know I am)! Don’t even get me started on the PT/OT staff- I never thought I could go into ANY office with such a consistent group of people that work so hard to push me when I need to be pushed but also know how/when to alter my exercises so that it’s not too much for my body to take. I have a number of other medical issues and they’ve all worked around those issues while also improving my quality of life when it comes to my back/shoulders/arms/neck...I could go on and on about how lucky I am to have found a place that has helped me as much as they have! (And just a tip: when you feel like cancelling due to your pain and being afraid it will get worse- DON’T! They will alter your plan to fit your needs on a day to day basis!) Whatever type of therapy needs you have Maxwell is the place to go!!!"
