🌷 Feature Friday: Meet Ashleigh Allen 🌷

Ashleigh is one of our incredible Home Health Aides, providing direct, compassionate support to patients and families. Since joining Swan Hospice on July 31, 2023, she has played a vital role in comforting patients at the end of life—assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and offering steady companionship and emotional support. 💜

Ashleigh shares,
✨ “I enjoy forming meaningful connections with patients through one-on-one time, listening to their life stories, and being a source of support. Most of all—seeing their smiles.”

A Massive Thank you to Swan Hospice of Michigan and Elara Home Care for coming out and hosting a memorial ceremony for all of our residents who have passed this past year.

As a community, we come together to mourn, to celebrate, and to honor the residents who have blessed these halls with their lives, their stories, and their love.

This wreath represents every name spoken today, each name a life, a memory, and a lasting presence in our hearts. As we pass it, may it serve as a gentle reminder of those who are no longer with us, but who will always remain a part of our community.

💜 Feature Friday: Meet Jessica Goodrich 💜

Jessica is our dedicated Social Worker and Grief & Bereavement Specialist, supporting families through some of life’s most tender moments. She has been with Swan Hospice since we first opened in Michigan, bringing compassion, guidance, and a steady presence to every family she serves.

When asked what she loves most about her work, Jessica shared:
✨ “I love helping families. It means I get to work with a great group of professionals who are caring, compassionate, and truly love what they do.”

Jessica’s heart for others shines through in everything she does, and we are so grateful to have her as part of the Swan Hospice family. 💕
