LET US HELP YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT A PSYCHIC READING IS (AND IS NOT).

- Through 30 years of serving the public with my gifts, I have run across a great deal of misconceptions about psychic readings. Many are completely detatched from any truth at all. Hollywood, the mass media and entertainment industries are much to blame. This considering how much their whole business is dependent on sensationalizing.
- Therefore, many people walk into our facility with expectations which are totally out of alignment with reality. That is the reason for this composition. I hope to enlighten and give perspective to you on what a psychic reading is and is not.
- Firstly, a psychic reading is NOT a "mind reading". One living being cannot jump into the mind of another living being and obtain personal information at their own discretion. This just does not work that way. Except perhaps in movies and on TV. Which incidentally happens to be the "source" of most people's ficticious ideas and misconceptions about supernatural phenomenon.
- What DOES occur in a psychic reading is the exposure of personal truths. This at times may seem like one's mind is being read. However, there is a difference.
- Intention is an important factor here. With proper objectives in mind, information conveyed in a psychic reading can greatly help the person being read, (the "seeker"), to see their own truth. The goal of the reader should be to HELP the seeker, NOT to impress them. The moment a reader submits to the enticement of being admired for their ability to amaze people, they have simultaneously allowed lower vibrational entities to take over their work. This is why the "tell me what I'm thinking game" almost always ends in failure.
- Generally speaking, when a reader addresses you in a session, there will often be information that the seeker can immediately relate to. Many times the info will be exactly what the person being read has directly on their mind at the moment. This can add to the notion that what is happening is a "mind reading", even after an explanation. The phenomena can be so mind blowing during instances like this.
- When you sit down for a reading, you are giving the reader permission (on a subconscious level) to read into your personal truths. This information is conveyed from an unbiased standpoint on the reader's end, considering they have no partisanship connected with your life circumstances.
- Secondly, a psychic reading is NOT a "fortune telling" but rather a FORECAST. Think of it in the following terms. Have you ever observd the weather forecast?
Yes you have. Only a liar will say they have never observed the weather report. We all have at some point, (especially those of us living in places like Michigan). Everyone has experienced concern about futuristic weather conditions, thus desiring prophectic insight on what they will be confronted with. The future forecast is witnessed for this reason.
- When you observe a weather forecast, you are wanting to gain information on what types of conditions the future holds for you. Henceforth, enhancing your ability to prepare for factors beyond your control. Life influences which you are ultimately subjected to.
- The whole purpose for obtaining the weather report is to find out what future circumstances have in store for you. That way you can make the appropriate choices on how you would most like to deal with such aspects. Chances are, if you find out there is going to be a hurricane you are not going to plan a day at the beach during the same time. This on account of being made aware of forthcoming occurences that you may have no heads up on at present.
- This is virtually the same function of the futuristic predictions contained in a Psychc Reading. They may be utilized to make better choices. Which can potentially create more desirable conclusions.
- Getting a psychic reading is NOT a "fortune telling" because the whole reason for getting one is to help you CREATE a better future. We all have FREE WILL and therefore are the authors of our own life story. You are not subjected to your life, it is subjected to you.
- Life experiences do not just "happen" to us. They occur in one of two ways. Either you ALLOW them, or you CREATE them.
- Thirdly, a psychic reading does NOT take away our life lessons. Experiences which help us to grow and evolve as a living being. This is especially so with incidents that you have a great deal to learn from. A reading should not shelter you from experiences and consequences which are an essential part of life.
- Some people have this misguided notion that getting a reading can enable them to avoid certain undesriable situations. Well I have news for these folks. If your actions and/or intentions have created difficult life lessons for you, there is NOTHING that will take that away from you. So buckle up and enjoy the ride.
- Some people act as if a psychic reading is supposed to give them ways to get out of facing life's challenges and obstacles. Like getting a reading should enable them to take better "short cuts" and avoid the undesirable repercussions their choices create.
- One example of this was when a young woman came in to me for a reading about 10 years ago. She was very attractive and about 5 feet 11 inches tall with the built of a super model. Her visit to get a reading was done completely out of curiosity.
- This young woman we will refer to as "Kay". She got a reading with me and was flabbergasted by the results. Kay left the facility totally in awe and bewildered. So much that she returned in less than one hour with four more people. All of which were there to get readings on account of how much Kay had talked me up because of her reading. She even paid for two of them to get readings. That is how convinced she was that I was some kind of "superman".
- In Kay's reading I pointed out specific situations in detail about her life, which she told me were incredibly accurate. Plus I also described the physical appearance of important people to her. I told Kay what her botyriend, her mom and her bf's ex gf looked like. I even gave her information about what kind of car her bf's ex drove! She was floored that this accurate of info could come from a total stranger. I do not ever promise that such detailed accuracy always occurs. Though I did so in this particular session.
- After leaving for the second time in one day, Kay went and wrote some fabulous reviews about my reading. She put them up on Facebook, Twitter, Zoosk, Google, our own wepage and everywhere else she could comment. She raved about how much of an amazing and accurate psychic I was. Raving in every testimonial she made.
- I have to admit, my ego was temporarily riding high. After we closed shop that night, I wanted to show someone these reviews. I went to every venue and ALL of the reviews were removed! Less than six hours later I apparently went from being "psychic superman" to a nothing? WTH??? Kay even unfriended us and blocked us on social media.
- So needless to say, this baffled us. This young woman whom had raved about us all of a sudden decided we were no longer worthy of her praise. Why would this be the case?
- My first reaction was to suspect that this occurred because of haters my wife and I have. Jealous admirers that aspire to emulate or copy our accomplishments as psychics. I figured that perhaps Kay had become tangled in the gossip mill, (like that would have been a rarity....LOL!!!). Much to my surprise, this time that was not the case.
- About 3 months later by chance my wife and I ran into Kay in a public place. Now, normally our etiquette is to avoid approaching clients in public. However, considering the unusual circumstances, we decided to politely confront her and ask why she experienced such a drastic change of heart.
- Here is how the conversation went,....
CAPO: "Hello Kay. Do you remember me? You visited my shop about 3 months ago and received a reading from me."
KAY: "Yes I remember you."
CAPO: "Oh great. My apologies for imposing upon you, but I just have to ask you. Why did you go so far out of your way to compose such a multitude of 5 star reviews of my work as a psychic, just to take them all down in less than 6 hours? Normally I would not bother a client with this but in your case I thought it quite curious as to your intense change of sentiment."
KAY: "Well I do not believe in what you do anymore! I think that what you do is not legitimate."
CAPO; "You most certainly believed in my psychic work that day you visited. I told you a great deal of info that you could instantly relate to and understand. Plus I also described the physical appearance of important people in your life. That day I told you what your boyfriend, your mom and your bf's ex girlfriend looked like. I even gave you information about what kind of car the bf's ex drove, do you remember? I mean, I told you such details about your life without asking a single question about you! How is that not legitimate???"
KAY: "Yeah I remember all that, but you see, something very important happened to me right after I left your shop that you didn't say anything about it in the reading. I think that if you are really psychic you should have known that this situation was going to happen and tell me about it."
CAPO: "So what did I miss?"
KAY: "I got fired from my job that day!"
- OK so she got fired, yes. So why did this not show up in my reading if I am truly for real? Here are the reasons reason why.
- For one, I later found out that Kay was being very irresponsible in her work environment. She was contsantly calling in late, being absent without legitimate reason and not taking her responsibilities seriously. Kay was even accepting unfair special privileges bestowed upon her by the shift manager. Someone who was an older male that had a very obvious attraction to her physical appearance. An individual that she had zero interest in but she still knew how to subtly lead him on as to ensure the special treatment.
- In essence, this beautiful young woman had already established and set into motion some very important life lessons here. The type of lessons that a reading is not going to shelter a person from. The biggest one being the experience of humiliation involved in losing her job.
- Especially on account of such circumstances. Repercussions which she herself CREATED by her own choices. She was in dire NEED of the learning experiences manifested by her negligence, immaturity and irresponsibility. These can provide great opportunities for personal growth and evolution.
- Ultimately, Kay was not given any futuristic insight on her upcoming employment termination because she DESERVED the consequences. Sparing her from such repercussions would have done her no good at all. She would have learned nothing and in fact probably went forward in life believing that she is entitled to avoiding the results of her unfair behavior.
- PSYCHIC READINGS ARE NOT DESIGNED TO TAKE AWAY A PERSON'S LIFE LESSONS. That is why her employment termination was not expressed in the reading. She NEEDED the lessons involved here.
- A truly productive psychic reading is a special gift. Given for the purpose of helping us to transform into the best person we can possibly become. How would it have been helpful to this young woman to be able to perhaps avoid such an experience? Telling her info that would have enabled her to avoid this valuable lesson was NOT in her best interest in the long run and overall picture.
- Getting a psychic reading does not turn you into Aladdin confronting the genie and getting your wishes fulfilled. You may not hear what you want nor expect, but you will hear what you NEED. The objective of a reading is to unveil your personal truth and serve as a futuristic guide toward a more fulfilled and spiritually enlightened life. A psychic reading is NOT an alternative to common sense. Nothing ever is.
