We had our resident Easter egg hunt this morning and then enjoyed our Easter party this afternoon. The top three residents who collected the most eggs received an Easter basket. Thank you, IGA of Flora, for donating a $25 gift card, which we used to buy candy for today's hunt. Also, thank you Debbie Terrell for providing treat bags for all our residents and the staff working today. Axiom Healthcare of Flora hopes everyone has a Happy Easter.

We did guess the amount of pennies in the jar today since it's National One Cent Day, keeping in mind that someday pennies will be no more. Our two winners were just a few pennies away from the correct amount of 203. Way to go, ladies!

We celebrated March birthdays today, along with our monthly activities raffle. Happy birthday to everyone, and congratulations to the monthly activities raffle winner.

These guys, along with a couple of high school volunteers, dropped approximately 4,500 eggs today for our Easter egg hunt. Thank you, Elks, The Boy Scouts, and high school volunteers, your work was greatly appreciated by everyone.

We had a wonderful turnout for our 2026 Easter egg hunt, and the weather was nice. We would like to thank the Elks and the Boy Scouts for hiding all the eggs and to thank our Easter Bunny. Thank you to all our donors!!! Razor donations and basket fillers (ages 10-12): Nathan Pontious. Bike donation (ages 6-9): W***y Willis. Bikes, helmets, and basket fillers (ages 3-5): Walmart DC. Bike donations (ages 6-9) and ride-ons (ages 0-2): compliments of Axiom Healthcare of Flora. Thank you to our wonderful community for supporting us, including our great staff and their families, volunteers, and our amazing resident family members for prizes, candy, basket fillers, baskets, eggs, and monetary donations. Thank you to John Bayler for taking pictures for our local newspaper. Thank you to anyone who supported us; your help was greatly appreciated. We don't mean to brag, but our residents are pretty good at Twister trivia. They had to answer questions correctly to spin the color wheel, then throw a bean bag onto the mat color indicating 1 piece, 2 pieces, 3 pieces of candy, or sorry. The residents really enjoyed this game.
