💙✨ Yesterday was a bittersweet day as we said goodbye to Beth Cassady, who has dedicated over 20 years of service to FHR. Beth’s journey with us began on 2-10 as a CNA while she was pursuing nursing school. After graduating in 2005, she accepted a position at Florala Hospital due to no nursing openings at the newly built FHR. True to her heart for this facility, Beth returned in 2006 when a charge nurse position opened... and the rest is history!
Beth served as a Charge Nurse until 2012, then transitioned into the role of Medical Records LPN, a position she held with dedication and excellence until her final day. Over the years, Beth has shared that what she loved and will miss most are the residents and their families, along with her coworkers (who she says are “pretty awesome too!”). 💙 Some families cared for by Beth even continued to stop by to visit her long after their loved ones were no longer residents. An incredible testament to the impact she made!
And when asked to choose between Alabama and Auburn? Her answer was loud and clear: “ROLL TIDE!” 🐘❤️
Beth’s parting words to our team were truly meaningful: “I pray the facility continues to prosper and that the staff be blessed. It takes a special person to do what we do, and we have some awesome staff. May God bless each and every one of you!” Beth, thank you for your decades of care, compassion, and commitment to our residents, families, and staff. We are so grateful to have had you as part of our family and will miss you dearly. 💐💙
